Calvin Klein is turning down the sexy and turning up the art in their new FW16 Global Campaign. CK is still as sexy as ever but venturing to a more artsy direction having a collection of musician, icons, social media influencers, artists, and professional and street cast models. The brand is celebrating a more empowering and alternate version of what it means to be sexy and showing that passion and joy is sexy. This campaign shows some new faces and gives the CK brand a new ethereal and attainable type of model instead of their usual athletic build models.
The brand like others has joined the social media hype and chose some social influences to guest star in their campaign, including Cameron Dallas who worked with CK recently for their Calvin Klein Jeans capsule collection. The man of the hour, Frank Ocean, (soon to be release his highly anticipated album) stars as the main face of the campaign and is featured in solo video in which he discusses his addiction to music and compares his need to create music to "a bad habit".
The campaign shot by the comparable Tyrone Lebon also stars the legendary Kate Moss, actress Margot Robbie, rapper Young Thug, model Bella Hadid, Grace Coddington, Lola Kirke, James Rodriguez, actress Zoe Kravitz, Henry Rollins, Aomi Muyock, G.E.M., Mo’ne Davis, Sonoya Mizuno, Anna Ewers, Yung Beef, Antoine-Olivier Pilon, Cuba Tornado Scott, Selah Marley, Kacy Hill, Keith Ape, Presley Walker Gerber, Mark Maceachen and Roos Abels, Tommy Genesis, Yung Lean and many others.
