Balmain is weeping for Paris in their latest campaign. The emotional new FW16 Campaign is reflecting the troubling times we are in, with tragedies going on all around the world including in the home country of the luxury brand, France. It seems only fitting to showcase such an artist perspective of the pain and emotion being felt in the world and I for thinkin this is their best campaign yet.The campaign is also making waves in the world of fashion taking the world of fashion to the not so far world of music.
Olivier Rousteing is known for his A-List fanbase, so it was no surprise that he teamed up with Kim Kardashian & Kanye West to produce this masterpiece. If you as me this was long overdue, the use of Kanye's single 'Wolves' featuring SIA & Vic Mensa to make a music video for the campaign was the type of innovative thinking that excites us in the world of fashion. The incredible designs were shown on models such as Jourdan Dunn, Francisco Lachowski, Alessandra Ambrosio, Dilone, Francisco Lachowski, Jon Kortajarena, Jordan Barrett, Josephine Skriver, Ysaunny Brito, Riley Montana, Ronald Epps Jr., Sasha Luss and Joan Smalls, also known as the Balmain Army. The striking black and white project was shot by the Steven Klein.
